HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

DO YOU IN 2009!

Correction to November Budget post

Wow. Math is my ish. Yet I let this fly right past me: "As you all know, I have about doubled my salary since July." Uhhhhhh NO boo boo! I would have to be making $96K+ a year to have done that. To think I took enough math courses to be 1 class shy of a math minor. *smh* I have my moments yall.

uhhhh.....Hello. Yall there? - Update

uhhhhh..........Hey.............yall remember me? lol!!! I know. I am so bad. It has been busy and hectic in Dimples' world. I haven't done a post in about 3 weeks. Did yall even miss me? *sniffles* Anyways. How is everyone doing? I hope you all are doing great financially, physically, spiritually, and mentally. Let me catch you guys up on what has been going down in my world. WORK Work has been going great. With almost three weeks under my belt I have completed 3 major projects and I am set to submit two more this coming Monday. My coworkers are definitely interesting, lol. I am definitely enjoying the new challenges. My supervisor has expressed the fact that she is extremely impressed with my work and my progress so far. We had a one on one today and she let me know that once the new contract began she had a lot of big plans for me. We talked about potential conferences and seminars that she would like me to attend and some certificates and training she would...

Still here

I am still here guys. This past week has been busy with work and getting ready to attend a 4 day youth conference with my daughter next week. I wont be able to post my end of the month report for May and my June budget until tomorrow night so look out for it. Hope you all are doing well. BYEEE!!!!!!!!

House Season Finale

OMG!!!! Beautiful Tear Jerking Heart Wrenching Explosive Awesome Just plain........DAMN!!! I am so late on this because I don't have cable and I usually catch up on my fav shows on Friday and the weekend. So I saw the part 1, House's Head, earlier this evening and it left be mystified and wanting more. But I could not, for the life of me, find part 2, Wilson's Heart. So I put my detective cap on and did some spy work on google. AND I FOUND IT !!!!! I am all cried out........................

Comment of the Day!!

I just received the following comment from Anonymous on my " Crockpot Recipe of the Week: BBQ Riblets " post: "ok, seriously, WHERE are you shopping for this meat for so cheap? Do you hunt it down yourself? You dating a butcher? I'm impressed and thoroughly intrigued by your cooking. See, now i'm hungry...lol " LMBAO!!!! No I do not hunt my food nor am I dating a butcher. I am just blessed to be located near some very inexpensive stores. I bought the package of riblets on sale at a Dollar General supermarket (there are only 3 in Florida). I also shop at a farmer's market and they are also super inexpensive.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MY MOMMIES!!!

Relax today and enjoy yourself!!!

Shoes, shoes, shoes!!!!

Steve Madden is having a hot sale . Mmmhmm. Check out how to get an additional 15% off here . I want these but only size 4's are left. And these but they are out of my budget range.........of ZERO!!!! I mean with the 15% off they would be $36.51. No shipping. Hmmmmm.......... NO!!!! Can't get 'em. Won't get 'em. NO MAM!!! Plus, I would wreck my ankles trying to werk these snitches. Yes......it is for my own good. OH MY GOD I WANT THEM. I WANT THEM NOW!!! *ahem* night..............

It is over lawd!!!!!

Thank you to all my well wishers. I did better than I thought I would. Doesn't say much but we will see in 3 months. I missed out on a very successful and fantabulous Lady's Day program that the women of my church threw. And I am not a happy camper. Taking this test has made me realize a couple of things......... 1. I don't want to go back to school. I am serious. I really don't. The studying, the test taking, the anxiety, the waiting (for your grade). I mean that test had the ability to put a damper on my whole week. I do not like that at all. I mean the same could go for anything important thing in life really but I would rather it be something I want. Not something "recommended" by someone else because they think it is essential to have. 2. I don't like that so much "emphasis" was put on this test when it is not a "requirement" for our job. It is good to have. Been even as I think about it. Do I really want to become...

Wish me luck!

I am going to be taking the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam in 7 hours. - I haven't studied like I should have. - I just got home from a bbq. - I lost a friend this week and I am in a "blah" mood. - I am ticked that I am missing this awesome luncheon being held at my church tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!!!! LOL!

She gone yall!!!

My crockpot is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sniffling* oh........HAPPY EASTER ERBODY!!!! *sigh* Before I left for church this morning I put a whole chicken in my crockpot wrapped in foil around 9 on high. Well after church my friends decided to hit up Red Lobster. I haven't hung out with them in like 3 weeks and dem cheddar bay biscuits were calling my name....mmmmmm. I had put the crockpot on high and it had already been 4 hours. So I was like ok, we'll eat and mingle for about 2 hours at the most and I'll go home and just put the food away for tonight or tomorrow. That plan sounded so good in my head but ish ain't work out that way. My friends can talk and we had a lot of catching up to do. Needless to say I didn't make it home till 5 pm, 8 hours after I put the chicken in. Part of the foil and chicken had burned into the crockpot......... I couldn't save her. Had to send her to the crockpot heaven above. So now Dimps has to get another crock...

Monday Randomness

Warning!!! This post will be going all over the place. Tee hee........have fun. Sweet & Spicy Garlic Wings I made some tonight. It was off the chain. Mmmmm. All I did was season some chicken wings (whole) with some cayenne pepper, garlic salt, chopped garlic, and pepper. I put them in a baking dish, drizzled some olive oil and honey on them, and baked them in the over @ 400 degrees for about 25 min (or until cooked). When I took them out, I drizzled a little bit more honey on them. Oh my goodness!!! Those wings were soo good. eBay and Amazon I am pretty sure most of you guys do this already but if you don't here it is: ALWAYS check out eBay and Amazon before purchasing something online. I am so mad at myself for not doing this last month. I purchased some hair products from Carol's Daughter and spent $48. Well the exact same products were on sale on eBay for half the retail price. DAG-NABBIT!!! I could have saved $24. Needless to say I have learned my lesson...
